￼Having been told by several people she should run an agency “someday,” she finally took the advice – along with her talents, instincts, experience and work ethic. Combined with her mission to prove that good work and good balance CAN exist, we arrive at the doors of Station K & Co.
Armed with an MBA and a degree in Journalism, she’s no ordinary “creative type.” A rare breed that is equal parts left and right brained, she seamlessly marries big-picture strategic thinking and solid business acumen with marketing experience and a sharp creative eye. Style meets substance in everything she does – with uncompromising standards. Refreshingly candid, she never shies away from asking the tough questions or taking on a complex assignment.
Having spent most of her career at Target, Karen brings a distinct combination of retail marketing, merchandising and brand management experience to her clients. Her portfolio includes work on premiere brands such as 3M, United Healthcare, Northwest Airlines, Cargill and H&R Block.
If she wasn’t running her own shop, she’d love to be a travel journalist, stylist or interior designer. You might also find her whipping up something yummy in the kitchen, flipping through magazines to get her daily “glossy fix,” enjoying the theater, or hosting game night with her husband. Oh, and did we mention she’s competitive?
